Both of these teams have played very well in the PAC-10 this season. Oregon had a bad loss at Stanford even though they came back with a vengeance after falling way behind. OSU lost a tough one at home against arizona and on the road against USC.
I see these teams coming in relatively even. The public is driving the line toward Oregon because they are the better known team with the flashy uniforms and skyscraper billboards that hang in New York City, However, the beavers are a damn good football team.
Sean Canfield can flat out throw a football. He's completed over 70% of his passes this year and against an Oregon defense that gave up almost 200 yards passing per game. Canfield is going to get his yards.
On the other side of the ball, Oregon is very dependent on their running attack. The beavers however have allowed opponents on average less than 100 yards a game running the ball. If Oregon can't run they are in trouble and they will have a tough time running tonight.
Revenge for last year's loss costing the Beavers a shot at the Rose Bowl will also be a factor tonight. The Beavers are hungry to get back to Pasadena considering they haven't smelled the roses since 1964. That's a long time and the beavers are due.
This is going to be one hell of a game and I can't wait to get home and crack a cold one and watch these two teams battle it out. I see Oregon State covering this one getting the 9.5 to 10 points and I like them on the moneyline too around +300.
