The broncos got back on track last week with their stomping of the Giants and will carry that momentum into this game against the Chiefs. The Chiefs got their asses handed to them last week by the Chargers and that hangover will last into this game. You don't just shake something like that off and then come back and play well especially when you're an awful team to begin with. The chiefs have one quality win all year against the Steelers, but most times they play a quality opponent they get spanked. Look for Denver to give them a whoopin behind the shed. Take the Broncos given 6.

Broncos roll and easily cover the 6 points. KC gets spanked again by a quality opponent.
Oakland Raiders @ 
Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh is not playing well of late losing their last 3 games and believe it or not the Raiders are actually starting to look like a pro football team lately. I don't believe you can ever give one NFL team over two touchdowns and that is the case here with the Raiders getting 14 1/2 points. 14 1/2 points against a team that hasn't beat anyone lately and a quarterback where his own teammates are questioning his fortitude. Ben's head may not be all the way back, but the Steelers can't afford to keep him out another week so they'll cart him out there. I see the Steelers winnin this one, but they won't cover 14. Take the Raiders and all dem points.

ummm.....Wow Raiders. Even greater than my greatest expectations. Needless to say the 14 1/2 point line was never in jeopardy.
Houston Texans @ 
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Texans and their great passing offense against the Jaguars and their awful passing defense will quickly make this game a laugher. The Jaguars only beat the lowly Rams by 3 points and got blown out by mediocre at best Seahawk team. The Texans are coming off 3 tough losses to the Colts, Titans, and well the Colts again. They may be on a 3 game skid, but they've played the Colts twice and played them close in both games. The Texans are much better than their 5-6 record indicates and the Jags are much, much worse than their 6-5 record. The jags have not beaten anyone of quality all year and they are about to get a hurtin at home. Texans minus the points.
RESULT
Very tough to cover a game on the road when you lose your starting quarterback. Matt Schaub would have made a big difference in this game. So it goes with unpredictable injuries.
Tennessee Titans @ 
Indianpolis Colts
Titans still suck. Don't let this little 5 game winning streak fool you. They haven't beat anyone of any real quality during that streak. I could play the jags, niners, bills, texans, and cards and pull out a few victories. Last time the titans played anyone of quality......Patriots. Final score 59-0 Pats. Before that the Colts drubbed them 31-9 at their place. Colts Colts Colts by 2 touchdowns.

Atlanta Falcons
No Matt Ryan no way the Falcons will keep up with the Eagles scoring off that porous Atlanta Defense. The line looks odd with a good Falcons team giving 5-6 at home, but does anyone remember the Falcons before Matt Ryan. Yeah that team is playing tomorrow. Take the Eagles

EAGLES absolutely roll over a Falcon team lost on offense without their leader.
Detroit Lions @ 
Cincinnati Bengals
Vegas continues to try and get a line right on the lowly Lions, but for 6 straight weeks the Lions have gone 0-5-1 against the spread. This week the bengals will make that record 0-6-1. This game will get really ugly. The Bengals will have this line covered by halftime and won't let up till they win this game by over 3 touchdowns. Bengals minus the big number.
Cinci just seemed to stop playing in this one after getting up big. Detroit with meaningless touchdown picked up the cover. This is why i hate the big lines in the NFL. College teams continue to play. NFL teams normally just start going conservative and run the ball to run out the clock.
New Orleans Saints @ 
Washington Redskins
I love the Redskins defense here keeping this one close. The Saints are coming off that incredible showing against the Patriots and are due for a letdown. When you're riding that high the only place to go is down and the Saints will drop a peg or two this week. The Redskins have been playing much better of late and with the Saints still with their heads in the clouds dreaming of how great they are, the Redskins are gonna punch them in the mouth. Skins getting 9 1/2 at home. Love it.

This game is in overtime, but you can't cover 9 1/2 in OT so Redskins cover.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ 
Carolina Panthers
In a battle of crap, the panthers will take this one by at least a touchdown over the lowly buccaneers for one reason...Carolina likes to run and they run well...Tampa Bay can't stop the run. Panthers win by 7 or more.

It wasn't quite as easy as I thought it was gonna be, but chalk it up. Panthers cover.
St. Louis Rams @ 
Chicago Bears
Battle of crap part deux. The Rams SUCK with incredible amounts of sucktitude, but the Bears just can't win a game anymore. Bulger is out for the Rams which is why this line is near 10 points. Both these teams are 1-6 over their last 7 games. I just can't lay 10 points on a team that is 1-6. Take the Rams and the points and hope they suck just a bit less than the Bears are going to suck.

Rams sucked just enough less than the Bears to cover. Nice work sucks.
